Set Up the Shot
 Don't be a passive picture taker. When your
photo opportunity allows, take charge and give direction to your
subjects. Be creative and have fun with props and poses. Experiment
with a variety of viewpoints
and camera settings. If you have a willing subject, don't be in a hurry; getting the right shot takes time.
Your subjects might whine a little about you taking more time while you
adjust the lighting or ask them to hold that pose a little longer, but
everyone will appreciate the superior results. And let me remind
you again; always take more
pictures than you think necessary.
